Amnet Systems, the U.S.-based editorial services division of Amnet Systems, seeks experienced North American freelance editors for book-length manuscripts from the growing self-publishing industry. Candidates who meet our requirements may also have the opportunity to work with manuscripts from academic and other types of publishers.





Amnet�s editors provide light, medium, and heavy copyedits and developmental edits. Topics vary greatly, but include business management, self-help, memoir, general fiction, and religion. All work is performed in Microsoft Word using the Track Changes and Comments features

Job Description

Currently seeking experienced proofreaders for book-length manuscripts. Proofreaders will be responsible for proofreading a variety of fiction and nonfiction manuscripts. We request applicants have a minimum of 1–2 years proofreading experience, proficient knowledge of Adobe Acrobat markup tools, and a BA/BS from an accredited 4-year college or university.

Candidates will be expected to take a proofreading test.
