JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will possess excellent people skills in the delivery of IT related projects. The role involves estimating, planning, execution, and administration of multiple projects across the full project lifecycle, including strategy through implementation for moderate to high complexity and high risk initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead people and teams. Manage, guide, motivate, and lead toward accomplishment of project goals.
Experience in IT Project Management to include: Scheduling, coordination, control, budgeting, project/process documentation.
• Develop detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedule creation, effort and resource planning, and synthesizing of plans across multiple projects.
• Scope and estimate various phases of project lifecycle work during both project initiation and project execution.
• Oversight and management of an end-to-end project budget - actual, incurred, forecast.
• Create and maintain project schedules using MS Project, Project online. Keep meticulous time records against specific project management tasks.
• Develop, document, and implement best practice processes across a variety of projects. Be persistent and professional in pursuit of all project deliverables and documentation.
• Represent and support the EPMO policies, procedures, and best practices to various projects and key business stakeholders.
• Proactively communicate with all stakeholders regarding project management status and deliverables.

Requirements & referred Skills:

• Must have experience communicating, presenting and interacting with Director level executives.
• Ability to clearly and articulately convey project constraints, risks, and plans to all levels of audience.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated ability presenting to small workgroups on both technical and functional requirements. Ability to thrive under production pressures and deadlines.
• Strong communication (verbal and written), time management skills, fast learner, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable in ambiguous environments and leading the team through problem solving exercises.
• Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with co-workers and management. Comfortable challenging peers in a healthy, constructive way. Knowledge of data management and business intelligence practices a plus.
• Knowledge of application development, including business requirements gathering, development, testing, and implementation.
• Knowledge of data models and relationships between data elements a plus.
