Job Description

Once hired, this candidate will:
• Source, screen, shortlist candidates for internal as well as client requirements considering the vessel schedule and requirements
• Arrange and coordinate travelling arrangements for on-off signing officers and crew in liaison with the Crewing Manager, the Masters and Port Agents
• Responsible for maintaining updated vessel rotation plans and execution of agreed crewing strategies
• Detailed Verification of crew qualifications/ certifications /documentation prior to joining as per the role specific Document Check list
• Liaise with Vendors / agents /Masters and other Global offices for coordinating for sourcing / crew sign on or off
• Update the Crewing files and records of each requirement separately in the pre-described order
• Ensure proper and timely management of visas, handling of flag requirements with regards to specific Certificates/documents
• Responsible for maintaining updated records for all seafarers from crew manning pool under responsibility
• Liaison with the accounts and operations team for smooth processes
• Ensure that utilization Control cost, verify invoices, get approval and submit invoices to Accounts for payment process.
• Develop and maintain close relationship with Clients, Agents, Vendors and build rapport with seafarers
• Ensure that the crew record for respective vessel is updated within 48 hours of the crew change.
• Ensure timely follow up of mandatory certificates renewal, medical follow up, pre-assignment / Post-assignment briefings
• Assist Operations/Management in managing/ developing/ coordinating seafarer and onboard Management.
• Responsible for other crew matters as directed by the Seniors / Management
