Job Description

The individual should have a deep understanding of the Oil and Gas industry - overall industry dynamics, issues in the Indian O&G sector & technology requirements & challenges of operational aspects of the industry.
Achieving Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Business Targets (Booking / Revenue & Profitability) as well as accounts receivables management
Managing relationship with OEMs & SI partners like Cisco, Microsoft, EMC, VMWare, Dell, HP, L&T, HFCL, TCIL etc.
Understand customer requirement & design technically & commercially state of art solution
Handling large & medium infrastructure outsourcing Bids / RFP Covering various technology requirements listed in the RFP/RFQ
Meets customers at the highest management level while representing in a professional manner for the specific purpose of generating sales.
Strong understanding of the customers business, market place, competition and drivers
Develop cross line of business opportunities, focused on value creation, business case development, stakeholder management, executive engagement and negotiation and close plans
Have a thorough understanding of the Server & Storage technology with previous experiences of selling in the O&G sector.
The individual should have successful track record of delivering results to O&G companies
A minimum of 8-10 years of overall experience in the industry
Excellent ability in resolving complex networking, hardware & software related RFPs & Tenders
Server Solution from Various OEM's like DELL, HP, LENOVO, HITACHI etc.
Back-up Solution in D2D & D2T, Storage Replication Technology, High Availability Solutions
DC & DR Set up.
A good understating of the software, systems, technology in relation to SCADA systems & reporting capabilities of the smart metering will be an added advantage.
Good working knowledge of Internet connectivity methods including xDSL and leased circuit services using copper and fiber presentation.
Cisco Certifications CCNA, CCDA & CCNP desirable
Preference for candidates who have existing working relationships in Oil & Gas companies addition to industry experience.
