Amnet Systems, the U.S.-based editorial services division of Amnet Systems, seeks experienced North American freelance editors for book-length manuscripts from the growing self-publishing industry. Candidates who meet our requirements may also have the opportunity to work with manuscripts from academic and other types of publishers.







Amnet�s editors provide light, medium, and heavy copyedits and developmental edits. Topics vary greatly, but include business management, self-help, memoir, general fiction, and religion. All work is performed in Microsoft Word using the Track Changes and Comments features

Job Description

If you are an APA freelance editor experienced in the fields of SOCIAL SCIENCES, MATH, and/or HUMANITIES, contact us at apaeditors@amnet-systems.com. Editors will be responsible for copyediting a variety book-length manuscripts and journal articles at the mechanical and substantive level and have experience using the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6e); minimum 1–2 years copyediting experience; proficient knowledge of electronic copyediting in Word; BA/BS from accredited 4-year college or university.

Candidates will be expected to take a copyediting test.
