Job Description

MTBC is looking for a motivated and experienced consultant who can provide leadership and subject matter expertise to internal MTBC account staff and to our radiology clients.
This position can be a member of the MTBC staff or a consultant full time or on a part-time basis.

Areas of focus include but are not limited to:

-With a deep understanding of medical billing within radiology practices specifically, develop and drive programs and operational processes that maximize return for our physician practices. Create programs that appropriately categorize and code claims to maximize client revenue.
-Research and communicate trends within the specialty area that enable practices to operate more efficiently, to get ahead of upcoming changes to payer/medicare reimbursements, and to better leverage technology.
-Help foster long-term relationships that drive renewals while helping the account team act as the single point of contact for assigned accounts.
-Respond to time sensitive inquiries and solve problems, recommending changes to enhance client satisfaction.
-Routinely monitor account KPIs and the overall health of radiology accounts. Connect with clients to help improve practice performance and enhance current reporting practices to add value for clients.

Qualifications:
-Approximately 3-5 years of related work experience in a radiology practice, preferably in a practice management role.
- In depth knowledge of coding and medical billing for radiology or similar medical specialty areas. Experience working as a radiology coder is a plus.
-Extensive clinical knowledge important
-Advanced skills with MS Office applications and other web based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain data sets.
