Job Description : The Research Analyst will undertake independent researchassignments in the Infrastructure sector. In addition to performing the basefunction of tracking the sector on a regular basis and spotting sector trends,the candidate will also write regular articles in magazines and chapters inresearch reports. He/she will be an essential team member of all custom andsyndicated research projects in the sector and will contribute to the reportdesign and writing.
1. Part of Research Division ofiData Insights and will be responsible for delivering in depth research andanalysis on developments in Infrastructure & Energy Sector in India
2. Expected to Conduct Market analysis, competitive bench marking andopportunity assessments through in depth primary and secondary research
3. Expected to work on research reports/excel database/Research on Demandprojects with limited guidance;
4. Expected be consistent in adhering to delivery timelines and qualitystandards;
5. Expected to develop Thought Leadership, Point of Views, IndustryNewsletters, and white papers
6. Expected to contribute and groom oneself as a subject matter expert ondifferent forums and regularly contribute to different journals / news analysis
Desired Candidate Pre-requisites:
1. MA, BA, Mass communication, Journalism, psycology, anthropology, MBA from a reputed institute
2. Excellent English writing and speaking capabilities, must
3. Self driven, pro-active and must have an entrepreneurial mind-set
4. Sector Knowledge: Power/ Infrastructure/ Oil & Gas/ Coal/ Ports &logistics/ Metals/ Mining
5. Well-versed with MS Word, Excel and Power Point, must
6. Experience in Financial Modeling, preferred
7. Willing to contribute with enthusiasm in various sectors across the energyand infrastructure industry
8. Should be confident and willing to contribute in various Businessdevelopment/Sales & Marketing activities
9. Should demonstrate a team oriented and collaborative approach, and excellentcommunication skills, including strong oral and written communicationcapabilities
10. Previous experience in a similar profile in a research and consulting firm
Job Location: Delhi/NCR
