Job Description
Desired profile

• Minimum Graduate with 2-3 years of technical and engineering recruitment experience preferably from shipping company. Candidates from Oil/ Gas or Transport and Logistics among other sectors can also apply.
• Enjoys recruitment, working on tight deadlines and bulk/ mass hiring targets with expertise in acquiring senior and technical talent across Indian and International markets such as Singapore, Dubai and other parts of Asia.
• Comprehensive knowledge of candidate sourcing techniques and free/ low cost offline/ online hiring channels (job portals, digital and print media and other platforms)
• Ability to think ‘out of the box’ hiring/ recruitment/ talent acquisition solutions.
• Proficient in using computers/ technologies for general purpose office, desktop/ laptops and mobile softwares and applications.
• Go-getter, flexible, efficient multi-tasker, quickly adapts and learns, eager to grow in fast paced challenging environment. Any prior team lead/ management experience is plus not mandatory.

Once hired, this candidate will on daily basis,

• Post all open jobs across platforms available/ accessible for maximum candidate outreach, check application status and candidate resumes plus evaluate their relevance for existing openings.
• Fully utilize all online and offline sources along with own network, past connections and resume databases for building solid candidate pipeline for interviews at office and phone.
• Headhunt, screen and interview applicants/ prospective candidates on phone or/and email across all open positions using best recruiting channels, search techniques and hiring methods.
• Share job descriptions with candidates, brief them about job role and company and share/ discuss own observation/ interview evaluation remarks for shortlisted candidates with supervisor and functional heads prior arranging further interview rounds.
• Follow up and negotiate with candidates regarding their salary expectations and notice periods/ joining dates plus other intricacies regarding their recruitment.
• Gather all necessary documents from selected candidates and roll out offer letters as applicable.
• Conduct background verification and reference checks of all offer accepted candidates and complete all pre-joining and onboarding formalities.
• Ensure transparency and right expectation setting to candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain strong pipeline and complete records of all candidates and resumes as well as prepare, daily update and submit recruitment/ hiring dashboards, reports and hiring analytics.
